点评：This is a delightful zoo, smaller than some of the other Ohio zoos but still has a lot to offer. I visited on a cold rainy windy day so there weren't many other visitors, but I still enjoyed seeing the animals. It's been several years since I have been here so it's changed a bit, which is great to see and I like what they have done especially with the bears, lions, and tigers. It's really nice. Due to the weather some of the enclosures were a little foggy so I wasn't able to take great photos but I was still able to see most of the animals. They are so fun. I enjoyed the updated signs and information about the webcams and such, this is fantastic to know that I can see many animals from home! The animals were very interactive, like the river otter who came over to check me out, and the one tiger who gave me the stare down. Some of the indoor exhibits are so awesome, like the bats who are difficult to photograph but once my eyes adjusted to the dark are a lot of fun to watch. The building where the Komodo dragons are have some great exhibits like moon jellies, which are fun to watch. The lions were busy sleeping (surprise) but some of the birds and other African animals were ready to go and happy to see somebody. It's a really nice zoo; I have visited in the summer and enjoyed the gardens and animal presentations which I really enjoy. The staff is always friendly and I even bought some "animal art" by the porcupine and a few other small items before I left. It was a rainy day that most people would never say "let's go to the zoo" but I'm glad I did, it was terrific to see the new -to-me Asia area and the other changes since my last visit. If you haven't been to this zoo, please go, and if you haven't been in a while, please plan a trip back. It's really a nice place, not too big that it takes hours to go thru but just big enough to go see some great animals and learn some things about them.
