Great golfing experience in Da Nang
Hoiana Shores Golf Club的点评
点评：Hoiana Shores Golf Club, about 40 minutes south of Da Nang. There are many golf courses to chose from in the Da Nang area and this was recommended to me by a friend who was in the Golf Tour business. It is a very impressive venue, the Clubhouse is something you might expect to find in the US. The course is a coastal course and runs right along the beach, especially on the second nine. When I played, it was quite windy, but this more added to the challenge, rather than detracted. The fairways from the tee look very challenging, but in reality, they are quite generous. You don't want to get off the fairways, as it is pure sand hills. Interesting bunkering. There are lots of bunkers and they are all considered sand dunes, so grounding your club is acceptable. The service was impeccable, from arrival, to check in, to your caddie and the after golf. Great staff. Couldn't be more welcoming. The condition of the course was pretty good, I think especially considering the amount of rain that Vietnam has had in the recent month or so. The greens are generous and undulating. Not overly fast, but ok. I had a great experience. It is expensive to play relative to other options in the area, but worth it.
