Fantastic trip on the Santa Express - what a lovely experience!

点评：We took our grandchildren on the Santa special last year, so we knew we were in for a good time.
This year we booked again. We had communication from the Light Railway before hand warning us of roadworks and hold ups which was very useful. However, despite this we still managed to discover that our sat nav said we would not get there until 5 minuties after our train had departed. I found a telephone number which I rang and the lovely man on the other end said they would hold the train for us.....which they did. They were so lovely and showed us to our carriage even giving us blankets to keep out the cold weather. I dread to think what we would have done with two 5 year olds if we had missed the train!!!!
The volunteers dedication to this event and to the railway is lovely to see and very much appreciated. There was good communication after the tickets were purchased on line and it was extremely well organised on the day. It was lovely to see Father Christmas and the children received lovely presents. The cafe was cosy and the food provided was plentiful.

Thank you to all involved. I would recommend a trip on this railway any time of the year, but especially at Christmas.
