Not dog friendly, not human friendly either!

点评：Came in & asked if the pub was dog friendly & I was told yes. “As long as they were on a lead & on the floor.”
Proceeded to come in with our 2 dachshunds.
One in her carry bag & my partner had the other in his arms till we ordered a drink & found a seat.
Upon doing so the man behind the bar in a very confrontational manner & tone said “put the dogs on the floor please” … a bit taken aback I paused for a second & before I could answer to explain they would be on the floor the moment we were seated as he had asked. I was then told aggressively “I did tell you that when you asked”
When he said on the floor we took that to mean not on seats etc once seated.
I’ve never felt so unwelcome in my life.
We promptly left & went to a nicer, more friendly place along the road.
Don’t waste your money in this musty, dark angry place.
