点评：This is a two-parter. You start in the shopping centre (!) for an interactive experience. Lots of hands on so perfect for children, we were interested in the historical details. Amazing to follow the history of our country from so far back. We pre-booked although in quieter times I don’t think it’s necessary. Then, by downloading the app, you head off round the town to explore. My husband could download the app previously on his android phone but I couldn’t on my iPhone, had to wait till I was there and use their qr code. Would have been so much easier to do that beforehand as it was a huge file and took forever.
However once that’s done, you follow it and it leads you round the town. Very difficult to follow as the map was upside down and we spent time going in the wrong direction. Clever graphics though and so much interesting information about the city. One thing - incredibly infuriating music playing in the background, couldn’t find a way to disable that!
You can also stop for a cuppa or lunch and pick up again later
A very interesting immersive experience and I’m glad we did it. Would recommend, just as much for families as oldies!
