Horrible experience.
Vietnam Tour Packages ( VTP Travel)的点评
点评：I booked a fishing trip in Hanoi for myself and my 5yo son. I was told the pick up was going to be at 5am from my accommodation. My son and I were left waiting for 20mins in the dark before the driver (whom I tried to call multiple times) told me he was going to be another 15/20mins late. Eventually he showed up nearly an hour late, not a great start.
Got to the lake an hour late and started fishing. Tour guide was lovely.
Unfortunately no bites and no catches, but hey, thats never guaranteed.
Unfortunately my 5yo son dropped his kids fishing rod in the water and we were unable to retrieve it, this happened about 1hr into the tour. There was no spare rod so he was left with nothing for the rest of the day.
Then, around 4pm we decided to go back to land and head home.
The guide told me his boss told him that my son and i were unable to leave the boat until payment was made (4mill dong - $215 ausd). We were literally floating in the middle of the lake. We finally ended up back on shore but once again we were not allowed to leave for a while until payment was made.
I spoke to this company VTP TRAVEL and they wouldnt do anything about this and called it ‘reasonable pay off’
This trip has costed me 10million ($538 ausd) and it was a huge disaster. DO NOT EVER USE THIS OPERATOR.
