点评：My wife and I spent a couple of beautiful weeks on Saint Martin for a special vacation this April and May. Everywhere we go I try to look for tennis courts to get lessons and to use a ball machine. The American Tennis Academy was the first choice for me. I booked a few lessons with Oliver Becaud (the owner) without knowing what a tennis treat it would turn out to be!!!
The facility is great, with two hard courts a sports bar a lounge and a convenient location easy to get in and out. I came expecting the usual - a pro feeding balls for an hour and running me around the court. Not with Oliver…
The first thing he did was talk to me about my game and experience. Then he said “let me see what you can do”… He started feeding me simple balls and within two minutes diagnosed my game complete with analysis on preparation, movement, point of contact, weight transfer and follow through. Oliver was not “beating around the bush” and told me with brutal honesty what I was doing wrong.
But the most important thing was that he didn’t just do that. He immediately came up with the correction plan for my forehand, demonstrating simple techniques for all of the above elements that somehow made sense in my head. Before I knew it, by the end of the hour I was doing what he wanted me to do: prepare by turning and moving smoothly while keeping the racquet up, shifting my weight and meeting the ball at 1 o’clock, following through and keeping my head down while watching the ball. A transformation indeed!!!
Mr. Oliver Becaud is not just a tennis pro, he is one of a kind, one who really knows the game, the technique and one who cares about teaching while somehow knowing how to get through to his students. “More technique less fatigue” he says! And Oliver certainly knows what he’s talking about.

但最重要的是，他并没有敷衍了事。他立刻为我制定了正手的矫正方案，并演示了上述所有我脑子里觉得合理的简单技巧。不知不觉中，一个小时过去了，我终于做到了他希望我做的：准备转身，流畅地移动，同时保持球拍向上，转移重心，在1点钟方向接球，然后低头注视球，完成后续动作。这真是一次蜕变！！！
Oliver Becaud先生不仅仅是一位专业的网球运动员，他是独一无二的，他真正了解这项运动，掌握这项技术，并且注重教学，同时知道如何引导学生。“技术越多，疲劳越少”，他这么说！Oliver当然明白自己在说什么。
