点评:This spot should be busier than it is and I think I know why.
The ax-throwing is fun, but it is incredibly expensive. I ended up paying more than I spend on groceries in a week.
Worse, I had no idea how expensive it was until I paid my bill. It made me feel used/stupid. That alone would not make me want to come back.
It’s a clean space with good parking, but it needs to find a “vibe” beyond veteran owned. Ask younger employees what might bring their friends in.
My recommendations are:
Lower the cost to $20 a lane for 20 minutes not per person.
The attendees were transactional (like buying food at McDonald’s) rather than friendly. Train the employees to be more engaging - remember names and ask questions about the customers.
Add more local drinks and create a bar space (rather than just tables)
Increase large signage (I may have missed it if it existed) so the costs are clear.
Create cool merchandise (no AI) with local artists and add interesting decor.
Building repeat customer rapport, making it cost feasible, creating “tie ins” with local businesses, having advertised events, and leveraging social media might get them there.
Right now (to me), it’s a one-off spot.
