White Springs Winery的点评
点评：We came to the Finger Lakes to see the eclipse. On Saturday we toured wineries. White Springs was our very first stop. We had 7 adults and arrived around 1 pm. The place was mostly empty. We told the lady at the door that we wanted wine by the glass. She said they also had cocktails. She was very pushy in that we had to immediately tell her whether we wanted wine or a cocktail so she could charge us and then we’d go to the bar to pick it up. We hadn’t even looked at the menu. Again, no one else was around but she wanted an immediate answer. It was $10 for either one. Our driver said he wasn’t drinking. She said we also have non alcoholic drinks. He said he didn’t want anything. She said everyone had to buy something. We ended up getting some precut bagged cheese and crackers to cover the extra cost. The wines were good but definitely on the sweeter side. There was live music in a small side room that was good but there were no big tables so we had to sit near the bars and store section. I’m sure in the nice weather, it would be a really nice view sitting outside. So if you don’t mind paying a $10 pp charge to go in, it’s ok. The lady at the door needs to be more friendly. At other places we didn’t all have to drink/spend money. After visiting 7 places in total, this ended up being my favorite wine because I like it sweet, however, the attitude at the door when we came soured our experience.
