Beautiful area, food good but be ready to be flexible when ordering.

点评：Visited here many times over the years. Used to enjoy long walks from this base but unfortunately now unable to do the walks but still enjoy the view and the food.
If the weather is good then to sit and eat with such a spectacular view is great.
The cafe seems to rely on a catering delivery service for a lot of the food served, so if you go there pre delivery there could be gaps in the menu.
We visited on a Thursday. There was no mash potato to go with the Faggots dish or the Sausage dish. There was no Lasagne as well as no chilli for the jacket potatoes.
The Chilli jacket was what we had actually gone there for, however I chose the Tuna Mayo Jacket Potatoe and my husband had the Cheese & Baked Bean jacket, both served with a generouse side salad and both meals were delicious . Plus, who knew how much more delicious it is, if the cheese is put in the jacket BEFORE the beans!
