Cruise staff assaulted a passenger - stay away

点评：Stay away from Nostalgia Cruises unless you like being physically assaulted and bloodied by the cruise staff while on vacation.
We booked Nostalgia Cruises 3 days 2 nights cruise around Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba island and it was an awful experience.
There were issues with the plumbing - one of the rooms we were in was incredibly stinky with smells of raw sewage coming from the bathroom. When we alerted the staff they kept just spraying air freshener and saying it was fixed.
The activities were miserable - we were pressured into attending everything, meaning we were getting up at 6AM and being kept up until midnight, when most of the activities were pretty unimpressive. We took a tour of the caves on Cat Ba island, and while the caves were cool, the tour guide didn't give us any helpful or interesting information about them. Everything was a long boat ride away from each other (but not on the main cruise boat) meaning we were just being herded from boat to boat all day long just for small 15 minute village visits or short bike rides.
However, this is nothing compared to one of the staff members assaulting my brother-in-law during a "tai chi demo"
During the demo, without any consent, training, or warning he HURLED my brother-in-law across a cave, throwing him back at least 6 feet, cutting him up so badly that his shoulder was damaged, and he was bleeding in multiple places. He easily could have hit his head, gotten a concussion, or had even more severe damage done.
To make this even worse, Huan didn't think he did anything wrong. When we talked to Amber, our sales rep, after, she was incredibly belittling of the whole situation. She said it was an accident, when it was completely intentional and did incredibly little to make amends.
Stay away from Nostalgia cruises unless there is confirmation that Huan has been fired as he is unfit to be around to passengers. You should genuinely be concerned for your safety around Huan and the staff
