Chapel House Estate的点评
点评：We booked for a Sunday roast and an overnight stay in one of the estate lodges.
Lunch was very good, the sirloin beef was extremely tasty and melted in the mouth. A nice selection of starters and desserts and some good wines. Staff were friendly and helpful, the ambience of the restaurant was good and it was very busy, so there was a nice buzz.
The lodges are sympathetically sited, not too far from the restaurant and look out onto a rural setting. Beds are very comfortable, towels are large, soft and fluffy. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided and there is a mini bar for you to purchase any additional items.
Unfortunately the water was only tepid for our showers in the morning, not a pleasant experience. The in-room safe was unusable, as it was already locked. Instructions for using the fire stick tv would be helpful.
There is no breakfast included in the cost (£200/night) of the lodge, a small breakfast hamper would be a nice addition, so you don’t need to bring along your own provisions or venture out to seek a breakfast.
