点评:There is a parking lot at the foot of the hill. From there, you can take a little train that runs every 20 minutes. We asked the parking lot and train tickets manager about the best way to get to the castle. We were worried because it was already 3:00 o’clock and had read the castle closed at 4:00. With his broken English, we understood we could drive to the top. He gave us a card to open the parking boom near the castle.
It turned out the castle didn’t closed at 4:00, but that was the schedule for the last guided tour. We bought our ticket and were instructed to proceed to the main courtyard. Signs were in Czech with only small ones in English, so we had to ask some local tourists. Before the guided tour, you must leave backpacks and big stuff in the guard robe. Then we got a booklet in English to follow the guide. She spoke really fast, with a deadpan expression, repeating memorized lines.
The furniture looked out of place, but it was interesting to walk through narrow corridors and stairs. It was a nice castle that reminded me of Predjama Castle in Slovenia
