I enjoyed my time in Sa Pa and I think that I got a good deal

点评：I was price-shopping for a tour to Sa Pa when I was in Ha Noi. There are lots of different tour agencies in Old Town and nearby that offer these services, all with similar signage, but of the ones I found, this one seemed to have the best offer for me. Since I had been walking around quite a bit, by the time I arrived to this agency there was only a few minutes before they closed, but Jane didn't rush me and stayed behind to help me feel satisfied with my choice. She guided me through every step of my trip and asked me for my trip preferences. She wrote things down for my sake, and she followed up with me before and after my trip. I appreciate the effort that she put in to making sure that I could enjoy my travels.
I ended up scheduling a 3D2N tour to Sa Pa for a good price. I was picked up from my hotel in Ha Noi to go onto a sleeper bus for my travel to Sa Pa. I had a stay at a hotel (Sheraton Sapa Hotel) for the first night and a homestay on the second night. The homestay had a pool table so a couple of the dudes and I spent some time late night playing pool. Both places had a welcoming atmosphere and breakfast.
My tour guide, Pang Chang, was very friendly, had a great command of English and was very knowledgeable. She took us through the rice fields, down the mountains and through the villages neighboring Sa Pa, and explained the differences between the different H'mong tribes that can be found there and the red Zhai tribe. I had a lot of fun on this tour, relating to other tourists, learning from the villagers and vendors and understanding the daily life of the villagers there.
I named the people I named so that my experience can hopefully be reproduced, turning the magic into a science. My booking agent's English name was Jane and my tour guide was Pang Chang.
