It's tiresome to be an international fan

点评：If you're expecting to be treated equally as an international fans, better go to Hokuei Town instead to visit Aoyama Gosho's Manga Factory. In Ghibli Park, nothing is in English. The staff only gave one single map in English, even as clearly there's two of us. The Grand Warehouse itself, nothing translated:(. Even the movie don't have subs or maybe device where you can really understand the story (like in Hikaru Genji Museum in Uji, which is totally cool!). If you don't like it too much, you won't notice how they seemed like they don't care about international fans. Crazy enough, most of their stories are cover from western books. How odd! Lol.
I'm not saying it's a must to translate anything, but compares to what Aoyama Gosho did, it's wayyy no effort whatsoever to cater anyone other than Japanese people.
Don't get me wrong, I love their works, but it's getting too sad that it's ridiculously difficult to get the O-sanpo ticket for international fans. The effort we took to get there is tremendous, and I don't think Miyazaki and friends appreciate it, as they seemed to only catering to local fans, which is so last decade.
So sad don't get the O sanpo ticket, and don't think I want to go there again anytime soon. It's too sad getting that close to Satsuki and Mei's House and can't even get it. So ridiculous.
Overall, if you'd still want to keep any fans, better treat them well. At least be fair is what we all want.
I'm going to Singapore's exhibition in January, and really hope they translated something there. Well, at least try for a change. And maybe, maybe I'll still be a fan by heart as before.
