点评：The Müllers have an amazing property which is part vivero (plant nursery), part bird sanctuary, and part nature walk. We were there early in the morning and were treated to quite the welcome by Susanne and Mike and their dogs. They explained where to go and told us to stay as long as we wanted. If you are visiting the area for a vacation, this is a great place to go for some peace and quiet.
We were enthralled with the care taken of the pathways, the virtual jungle, and the huge pond with seemingly hundreds of water lilies. We took many photos of plants, spider webs and spiders, the bird in the pond, pollywogs (I don’t think they’d reached the tadpole stage), and enjoyed the quiet.
This is a place of serenity; the noises were all natural while we were there.
The Jardin Botanico Lajas Adentro site is only about 20 minutes from Las Lajas resort but once there you’d never know how close to the beach you are.
I highly recommend going there if you love plants, listening to birds as well as glimpsing them, and purchasing plants…not required, but the opportunity is there.
