Good fort but mixed communication

点评：We have visited the fort before but now it's under new management we thought we would pop over to see what improvements had been made. It's a lovely fort, volunteers are always really happy and informative, and it's clear things have changed slightly in regards to room set ups which is utilising the space alot better than previous trips there. The coffee shop is always lovely to visit and has a lovely atmosphere.
However, when we did the private tour, we enquired the day before to ask if we could look in the observation towers. We were told that wouldn't be a problem but we ended up on the tour, not even looking in the towers because they said they didn't have enough notice. Our guide was very informative and it was a lovely route, however it was a huge disappointment to spend three hours talking about the fort when we knew the history already and the rooms, and not actually go into somewhere we hadn't and paid for under the pretence we would be shown around there.
As paying customers it's a shame we were promised something the day before which we never ended up with.
