点评：This was a family experience during our recent ski holiday to Geilo. I was not sure what to expect other than being driven on a sledge pulled by huskies.
I was not expecting to drive the sledge which was a super experience and great fun. I was surprised how easily the dogs pulled the sledge through thick snow and were so eager to run and run. Our trip took us out across the frozen lake and back. The trip was about 45 minutes of exhilaration! Once back at the base we were invited to stroke the dogs, all of which, for us, were very friendly, perhaps a couple were a little shy. Warm drinks around a campfire were also provided, much appreciated at the end of our trip.
The staff organising the trip were friendly and very knowledgeable and keen to explain many of the finer points to us.
A couple of tips for people thinking of going on this trip, make sure you go to the toilet before you get there and be sure to wear very warm clothing though you are provided with blankets and reindeer skins to cover the passengers. It was very cold when we were there, -16C, then with wind chill making it feel even colder. But do not let that put you off, it really is a great experience.
