How sad to let this lovely hotel decline.

点评：How sad. Standards dont exist anymore. We have stayed here with a few managing companies but this is the last. Over booked. Wasted time advising check in may be delayed but didnt warn you that even though you booked on Half Board you would have to argue to be allocated a dinner slot to have arrived at 5.15 and told only 5.45 was available. And told 2 courses only included. A minimalist menu choice. Then desserts came out and they didnt have the shortbread for creme rules no apology until we called our waitress who was lovely and apologetic but sorry no shortbread. So not as webhave always experienced before. Other guests declined a dinner reservation despite the very isolated position of the hotel and almost no local amenities to eat. Especially if you have had a drink in the bar before finding out. Also the cost of the room to not include leisure facilities is disgusting especially when we had upgraded our room. No times of anything in our room, no welcome letter we had to Google breakfast times. Photos attached will show the run down examples we found without even looking. Nothing plus point apart from the look of the outside of the hall... And walking round the lakes totally overgrown and the bridge the netting has fallen down not resolved surely a health and safety issue and a life bouy missing if you did fall in. Avoid avoid avoid. Make them improve this gem that once was.
