A few additions since last visit but needs to be kept clean
Gonsua Lake的点评
点评：It was back in November/December 2022 when we first this Lake as we made our daily stroll to Gonsua Beach.
We are now back in the area and walking back and forth to the Beach on a daily basis.
Since we were here last there have been a few changes, the streetlights along the colourful brick pavement have been repaired and are operational at night. The concrete pillars, supporting the safety railings, have been painted with bright coloured paint.
The most notable change was the addition of Jerone's Water Sports. Visitors can hire pedalos and kayaks and paddle around the lake. At the time of our visit it was Rs150 (about £1.50) per person for 25 minutes.
On some days the dark brown waters of the lake had a dark brown scum on top, not very inviting. Also those who gathered along the pavement in the evening, dropped their food wrappers, plastic glasses and bottles on the ground. Some of this rubbish inevitably ended up in the Lake. Last year there was a guy who would fish the rubbish out, he was not evident this year.
Occasionally some guy would come along and clean up and bag the rubbish for burning later, looks better but not great for the environment.
There was obviously still some fish in the Lake as from time to time we saw people fishing from the banks.
