Nice way to spend a cold day in Winnipeg

点评：I was visiting in March so looking for things to do that would keep me out of the chilly snow. I bought a ticket online for the museum for $24. This also gives you access to the planetarium which was one of my main reasons for visiting. I had not factored in that it was half term so the museum was quite busy and noisy, if I visit again I will plan more carefully.
The planetarium show was very good, it started with someone giving us information about the night sky and constellations then there was a recorded show with a display giving information about some indigenous Canadians’ legend of the sky. I found it very informative. The museum was also quite good, you all walk one way around the museum which I liked. There was quite a lot of natural history displays relating to Manitoba as well as items linked to the history of the province, including the development of the rail road.
There is a lot of building work going on in the museum but this did not detract from my visit.
