This is a must do tour. Learned so much about how coffee is made.

点评：A lot of people showed up at the same time as our tour. The tour bus was placed with one guide. My family and another family paired up with Fernando as our guide. While we waited for the tour to start, we were offered some coffee samples.
Fernando was a great guide. He was very enthusiastic about what he was showing us. He took his time and we learned a lot. We saw some local wildlife, then toured the farm and learned how much of it is self-sustaining with animals and other foods grown on the farm.
Of course, this is a coffee tour! We learned a lot about the entire coffee process - types of beans, how it’s made, and different types of coffee. We picked coffee beans, learned about the different coffee trees and about the region and why coffee from Costa Rica is so popular. We were shown how the roasting process works and then had a taste testing where we tried the different types of roasts, types of beans, and different brewing processes.
Finally, the gift the shop offered bags of coffee for sale. This brand of coffee was cheaper here than the gift shops in town.
We spent about 2 hours on this tour. Our family all thought it was worth it and we learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour. It’s bookable directly through their website.
