The best tour we have experienced. The tour guides are professional, knowledgeable and very welcoming. We were impressed with the places we visited, not only for the spectacular interesting scenery, but also for the deep and engaged interpretation of their communities by local presenters. The OAT guides accompanying our tour have a close collaboration with local guides which was impressive and aded to our appreciation.
It is difficult nominate any one experience or place to highlight. We loved all the wide open spaces and the changing scenery - the Channel Country is fascinating as well as learning about Dinosaurs at Eromanga and Winton. The small towns we visited were interesting and impressive.
Our last night was a cruise on the Tomson Rover, Longreach, at sunset followed by an out door dinner and show. It was a lot of fun and great to enjoy the warm hospitality.
We would love to do it all again.
