Great evening out for the whole family - we visited as a family which included teenagers.
Parking can be an issue as the car park fulls up quickly. Gates open at 6.30pm and it costs £3.
Entry was £50 for a family ticket (2A and 2C). Racing started at 7.30pm and was fast and furious. A variety of races. The kids preferred the banger racing, especially the caravan banger racing at the end - noisy and bits flying everywhere on the track.
Refreshments available at the stadium or bring your own to enjoy on the evening. Bring a picnic blanket/chairs to sit on as racing lasts for about 3 hours. There is undercover sitting that you can pay a few pounds per seat.
The toilets can get very busy, so bear this in mind especially if the queues are long and you have young children.
The racing is fabulous - one race after another. Noisy, exciting and lots of crashing in the bangers. Time between the races to clap for the winner and tidy up/prepare for the next race.
The races vary per event evening so check out their website for which races are on.
