Unforgettable Ethiopian Experience

点评：Our trip to Ethiopia was a happy accident, if I may say. It was an extended layover that turned to an unforgettable experience.
We contacted Shigo a few days before the flight and informed him that we only had 2 nights to spare. We told him about the limited time that we have and that we want to experience the heart of Ethiopia, that is the people. With this, he made it work. When other tour operators said they can't, he assured us that it is doable. We booked him because of his can-do attitude.
With only a day before our trip, he arranged our transfers, accommodations, guides, and food. He managed everything and we just trusted him.
Glad we did! We saw tribes Hamar and Arbore and the beautiful southern provinces of Ethiopia. Upon our return to Addis, we even managed to squeeze in a city tour and a cultural presentation. Of course, included are introductions to authentic coffee (one of the best we have tasted) and local food.
Our hearts and tummies are full because of Shigo. So glad we got him. Looking forward to more travels with him in the near future!
