Scout Adventures Gilwell Park的点评
点评：Approximately 15 of us (coach drivers) brought hundreds of children and adults from the scout community. Most of us had been here before and there was a restaurant/hotel where we could sit and have a nice lunch. Nobody informed us of its closing therefore we didn't bring packed lunch. When we asked if we could buy food from the scout kitchen the reply from the lady in charge of the kitchen was no its only for the volunteers, and that was poor to say the least with a meat and vegetarian option of pasties. We were however offered to buy a hotdogs and chips ( hotdogs out of a jar and stale bun with manky fried chips) we have all eaten in some really low quality places but that was just foul. Most of us were up at 5am and didn't worry about breakfast as we thought something decent was available here. Maybe the people in charge of the scout venue should remember the people that bring all their members to Gilwell Park need to eat too, or at least inform your coach companies that you are using that there is no restaurant anymore and also up the selection and quality of your food especially for your volunteers as they give their all to make the whole day a brilliant experience for the children. The kitchen was huge and to only have pasties and hotdogs and chips of very low quality was disgraceful. Come on Scouting Community sort yourselves out, its not as though anybody expects to be fed for free. The profit you could make for the organisation would be advantageous for funds if you just gave others who make your days happen a thought
