Good Atmosphere, Puzzles are Poor

点评：We were very excited. This escape room has great atmosphere and is well-designed aesthetically. The puzzles make sense somewhat, but if you have done many escape rooms, you will likely find this one lacking.
There are some special effects that are distracting, which you are warned about, but instead of adding to the experience they make it frustrating. There seems to be an almost schadenfreude perspective by the owners - they want to laugh as you get jostled, scared, or forced to dance for clues (even if you didn't ask for clues).
The in-game clues are not challenging in a challenging sense. There is no real point A to point b in several of them. There are clues in places that make no sense for the puzzle they solve, and some puzzles don't have clues to help you solve them - you have to rely on asking for clues. Some of the puzzles require the outside worker to release a door for you, so if they are distracted you can't complete the puzzle. Also, there are devices you use that don't seem to get checked for batteries or for properly working.
It's a shame. There is some real love of escape room here, but narratively, as a journey, and as an overall experience this is very much at the bottom of the escape rooms we've done. (We are probably at about twenty total)
