The Cairn Distillery的点评
点评：The Cairn Distillery generously donated two tickets for their Adventure Experience Tour to a local Mcmillan Cancer Support event, and we were delighted to have winning bid.
We have just been on the Cairn Tour and I can thoroughly recommend it.
It was very interesting, informative and well presented, and led by a great guide who was extrememly knowledgeable and able to answer every question. The modern building is very impressive and makes the most of the wonderful surrounding views from the river Spey to the Cairngirm mountains. The ethos of the distillery in caring for the environment and embracing the local produce was very pleasing to hear. The tour finishes in the impressive Tasting Room where you get to sample a few drams, the whiskies are designed to emulate the style and character of the whiskies to be released from The Cairn in years to come. My husband was so imressed with the Whiskies sampled that he treated himself to a bottle (available to purchase on the way out :) To complete the tour, we were taken to 'The Gathering' where we were treated to a lovely selection of Scottish Tapas. All in all a very pleasent visit, with very friendly helpful staff - definately worth a visit and we will certainly plan another visit to The Gathering to sample more of their wonderful local fare.
