点评:Late spring. The Garden of England (aka Kent). Whilst Oastbrook itself is an incredibly charming and beautiful location, steeped in medieval atmosphere, the real intoxicants are its inhabitants! America and Nick Brewer are wine passion personified! They host you like long lost friends, and they lavish time and care on their visitors. As well as an incredibly interesting and interactive tour of how they make wine, they are also consummate and passional story tellers, sharing funning and charming nuggets into their journey into wine making! We loved their refreshingly unpretentious philosophy of how personal and individual wine is to people and we loved the wine. I myself was a practitioner of ABC (anything but Chardonnay), but I am now a convert to their Oastbrook grape. Well worth a visit, and if you don’t want to travel too far afterwards, I strongly recommend The Bell at Ticehurst for an overnight stay (see one of my previous reviews). The two make a delicious and charming bundle of old world charm and passion! This is beautiful England showing off, and we love it!
