Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return

点评：Really disappointed to be leaving a 1* review as we love supporting local businesses, however we took our daughter strawberry picking yesterday for her first birthday and spent £20 on 2.7kg of strawberries. Yes it’s a lot but she had so much fun so we didn’t mind. It’s her birthday party at the weekend, they’ll last until then and at least we’ve got plenty of strawberries to go around… wrong.
We got home and immediately put them in the fridge. In less than 24 hours the entire basket was mushy and mouldy and every single strawberry has had to be thrown away.
My daughter was so upset this morning when she asked her strawberries and there’s not one that I can feed her. It’s also incredibly disappointing after spending so much money. We only wanted them to last three days, but they didn’t even last 24 hours.
There was a baby in a pram under a cordoned off gazebo (that belonged to one of the employees) We sat next to the barrier as it was the only tiny part of shade after strawberry picking for our daughter to eat her ice cream tub we’d purchased, having a usual volume level of conversation. The baby woke up, not crying but was just awake and the employee came over and was saying “Did someone wake you up? Awh baby, did somebody wake you?”. We were quiet and respectful as we’d seen there was a baby. My daughter was quietly eating her ice cream and I felt those comments were quite passive aggressive and extremely unnecessary.
