Absolutely Magical – A Must-See
Carnival Magic的点评
点评：We visited Carnival Magic with our son and were completely blown away — this place is unlike anything we’ve experienced. Imagine combining every theme park parade you’ve ever seen with the most extravagant Christmas light display you can think of… and you might almost come close.
TIP: Go for the Royal Upgrade seating – it’s well worth it for the VIP experience. You’ll hand in your phone and camera before the show (similar to Fantasea), but the process here is much smoother and more organized.
One big plus: no animals involved, unlike Fantasea. Also, there’s much more to do while waiting for the main event — from themed areas to games and quirky attractions, it’s easy to pass the time.
We had dinner at the Birds of Paradise buffet, which was similar in style to Fantasea, but soft drinks were included here (though unfortunately, no sugar-free options were available). Still, it was a fun dining experience.
The main show is gobsmackingly good — vibrant, fast-paced, and beautifully staged. And just when you think it’s over, the Kingdom of Lights walk takes things to another level. It’s visually stunning and totally magical. Pro tip: hang back about 15 minutes after the show before starting the walk — the crowds thin out, and it becomes a much more enjoyable stroll.
There are plenty of carnival-style games and rides (most at an extra cost), but there are also some charming free experiences sprinkled throughout the park.
And whatever you do… visit the toilets. Seriously. The theming in each is over-the-top in the best way. Our favourite? The “Toylet” — a toy-themed lavatory that has to be seen to be believed.
A must-visit if you’re in Phuket — especially with kids. Just be prepared to be dazzled.
