点评：This was my second trek with Himalaya Reisen, and once again, they exceeded my expectations, proving why they’re my go-to trekking company. This time, I joined a group trek instead of a private one and couldn’t have been luckier with my group of nine. For anyone hesitant about group treks, keep in mind you can still enjoy your own space (like having a private room) while benefiting from the support and camaraderie of the group. It truly made the journey even more fulfilling.
Our trek faced unexpected challenges due to the September floods, which disrupted flights to Lukla. After days of delays, we decided to drive and start trekking from a different point, adding hours of travel and extra trekking days. While it was tough and unplanned, I wouldn’t change a thing. These challenges strengthened our team bond, and our guide, Hari, handled everything with extraordinary skill and care. Adapting to constant changes while ensuring the safety and well-being of 15 people is no small feat.
Dipendra, Hari, and the team of assistant guides and porters (fondly called “The Boys”) went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. Their dedication turned a potentially stressful situation into a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
Everest Base Camp is no easy walk, and the weather can be unpredictable. Having a company like Himalaya Reisen that can adapt seamlessly is invaluable. They’ve proven time and again that I can trust them completely, and I wouldn’t trek with anyone else. Highly recommended
