Nice hike for nature, wildlife and views at Kaikōura

点评：This is a lovely trail situated between the the Point Kean and South Bay carparks that is nicely maintained and family friendly, taking in cliffside and seaside views from the Kaikōura Peninsula and opportunity to see the famous sea colony that reside on the rocky shores at the south end of the peninsula.
You can walk the formal trail between the two carparks or make a roughly 5km loop route from the Point Kean carpark and trailhead, taking in the coastline and beach area where the sea lions bask as part of your trail walk experience. Lots of sea lions that you'll see, many up close on the lower coastal stretch. Signs ask you to keep a distance of 10 metres from the sea lions.
On the whole, its a nice way to spend a few hours outdoors, taking in some light exercise and viewing wildlife while in Kaikōura.
