点评：Me and my wife had great vacation in the Leonidio area, arranged by the lovely team of Nomia Experience.
It started with suggesting us a great plan for the five days we were there, suiting our interests (hiking. Nature, History, and culture).
Ofri from Nomia helped us arrange bookings for a car and accommodation.
When we got to Leonidio, we immediately fell in love with the special and authentic atmosphere. We stayed at a beautiful new hotel, in the middle of the village, which was very convenient.
During the vacation, the Nomia team arranged several kikes and tours with very interesting people that are full of passion about Leonidio and the surrounding. Nomia is making a special effort in introducing the culture of this unique part of Greece, and specially renewing the old Shepard trails of the region. We had a guided tour in the village, with lovely Heleni, visiting places and people, and telling us a lot about the Tsakonian culture.
We didn’t join her for a cooking workshop of traditional food - may be next time…
We had two great hikes, off the beaten track, with Ofri, and another one with Benny and Karl, tracing old Shepard trails, walking by streams, surrounded by flowers and shaded forests.
We also went to a few self-guided tours which were recommended by Ofri, some of them in the area, and some our way back to Athens.
Adding the tasty taverns and restaurants - we had a week full of stamina, pleasure, and beauty.
No surprise we are going back there in April, this time, with all our family.
