点评：We took a 10-day wildlife tour with Inala Nature Tours. Our guide, Cat Davidson, was amazing (as is Tasmania). Of course she was knowledgeable about the birds and mammals, but she was so much fun to spend 10 days with. She also handled all of the logistics of the trip with great professionalism.
The tour focused mainly on seeing the birds and mammals of Tasmania, but we took time for some incredible scenery as well. Cat also filled some of the driving time with interesting history and conservation discussion. I would describe the pace as ambitious, but in no way grueling--no leaving before dawn, as is the case with many birding tours.
I saw or heard 115 species of birds (including all of the Tasmanian endemics, and the rare Swift Parrot), and about a dozen species of mammal (including great looks at platypuses, echidnas, and wombats).
We heartily recommend Cat and Inala to anyone interested in the wildlife of Tasmania, and we would jump at the chance to travel with Cat elsewhere in Australia if we ever make it back.
