点评：Saw this trip advertised when on holiday here.
Sounded great! We paid €170 for 2 of us.
We came straight off another excursion and booked this for the afternoon immediately.
What they don’t tell you!!! You will be absolutely frozen! We only had vests and shorts and luckily I had a small cardigan in my bag. No one mentioned how cold it gets and that we should be dressed warmer.
My friend hadn’t carried her driving licence and passport so only I was allowed to drive. (A driving licence is adequate)
We were taken to rough ground for an hour of rough tracks and dirt.
This was great fun but we ended up absolutely filthy.
We then set off to mount Teide. Driving at speeds of 40-60kph it gets cold. The temperature drops so low and everyone was frozen. I have never been so cold in my life. So cold you can’t think of anything but how cold you are.
We stopped at a cafe about 3/4 way up. This was a welcome stop to try to warm up.
Eventually we got to the end of the drive below The volcano. Please note you don’t actually get anywhere near it!
Take loads of warm clothes, hat, gloves and a thick coat.
I definitely would not have done this trip had I had known all this before hand.
We covered around 150 miles round trip absolutely frozen.
