Okay wine, but fun experience

点评：Gave ourselves a day in Murphys to wander the shops and wine taste. It was an off day midweek so choices were limited. The tasting room was itty bitty, and the patio out back was small as well, but right on the creek so decent atmosphere - and we were the only ones there. The wines, like the rest of our experience in the Sierra's and Lodi, were hit and miss. We liked one or two of the zins here and went away with a couple bottles. Like others in the area, tastings are in the $15-20 range waivable with a bottle (or two) purchase, and the average price per bottle is quite attractive - particularly compared to Napa and Sonoma. This place was memorable for the lovely lady (Linda?) who served us. Loved to chat think we wound up tasting close to the entire menu of wines - we had to tell her to stop bringing out more! Not sure how she would handle a large crowd, but she was a kick in the pants and made the experience a positive one.
