Monster truck very different

点评：We were met on the peer by an enthusiastic guide and then claimed steep external steps into a huge monster truck. Strange looking vehicle with massive wheels and big windows. Ground clearance about 4ft
We drove out of Port Lemon initially on main roads, past small homes with tin rooves and then on gravel and muddy roads into the mountains, very bumpy
Good guide with lots of information about Costa Rica, including schooling, cost of living, immigration and flora, forna and wildlife. Over flowing rivers and along precipitous roads single track
Eventually stopped and somehow climbed down slippery , tilting steps with minimal hand rails for a short guided walk. Saw monkeys and poisonous small red tree frogs. Wild bananas , and butterfly's
Weather changed and heavy rain, back up slippery steep wet steps with wet handrail not easy.
Started drive back over bumpy and wet roads with streams looking like rivers, again muddy and precipitous roads. Went through small village, looked very poor, tin rooves, and rain water now around several homes. River was so high we had to turn back. Past banana plantations. Eric giving us lots of information about the plantations and challenges for Costa Rica.
