Fabulous walk despite poor route guidance for Lorggen

点评：We are in our 60s and accessed the Skihűtte by the 321 bus from Bressanone. It worked well but was extremely full with standing room only from the rail station in Bressanone. On arrival at Skihűtte, we took the cable car to the top, having bought our advance tickets online. The problems began on alighting the poorly manned cable car. The route direction posts are not clear and we had to rely on where we could spot other people walking. Our plan was to follow the Lorggen route. Nothing onerous! We got as far as the first stop which is horizontal from the cable car stop. At that point, there are a few numbered routes that diverge. We wanted number 7. Number 7? Where were those signposts? We could see number 6 but we knew we definitely didn't want that route as it followed a ridge and we wanted a walk rather than a challenging hike on that particular day. Perhaps it was the building works that had removed the posts, but absolutely everybody we saw spent several minutes studying multiple maps to work out their next step. We got it wrong! We decided on the safest looking route which turned out to be the cycle path (and workers' trucks' route) down to the next Plose stop with refreshments and playgrounds and other facilities. We then rejoined the Lorggen route and made our way back to the bus stop at Skihűtte. Despite the route error and the inexcusably poor route guidance at the top of the mountain, it was a glorious, low-energy walk of 10km. The views speak for themselves.
