点评：I did 4 weeks with Vamos academy in July 2025 and it was a fantastic experience, doing the 20 hour intensive weekly option in the morning. From the moment I began contacting them a few months beforehand, the customer experience was responsive, friendly, polite and helpful with all the questions I had in advance. A big thank you to Eduardo for that. I decided I wanted to get to as high a level of Spanish as possible before I arrived, so waited to do my placement test until the last moment (a week in advance as per their request), just because I wanted to be good enough to accelerate my Spanish as much as possible, but they cater to all levels. When I was there, I was initially placed in a higher level than I thought I would be, and expressed this to my tutor Sergio who gave me an option to change but thought I was at the right level and to keep going and see. I was a bit intimidated and I can’t thank Sergio enough, as my tutor for the four weeks. He encouraged me when I was feeling overwhelmed or not good enough, was patient and kind, and would explain things in multiple ways until I understood. I really have to credit to Sergio for helping me achieve what I did while I was there. For those with kids, they also have options for them as well while parents are learning. My husband was at a lower level than me and could only do afternoons due to work, and they were very flexible to cater to his needs.
The benefit you will get out of this is what you put in, Vamos sets the scene and gives you all the tools to do it in a supportive environment. There’s no pressure, the only pressure I felt was what I put on myself. If you want to take it casually, you can, if you want to push yourself, that’s also possible.
I would definitely go back!
