Kefalonia E-Mountain Bike Experience的点评
点评：I had a fantastic ride in the mountains of Kefalonia! Panos, my guide drove me halfway up the mountain, and then we started riding to the top, where the wind turbines are. The views of the island and the other islands are fantastic. We got up there early and it was nice and cool. There was a great breeze. Based upon some of my experience, we decided to go on the aggressive trails. He has easier trails as well.
Panos knows a great deal about the history of the little villages that we rode by. The terrain varied from top of the mountain trails to wooded trails to stream beds filled with large gravel. You see lots of birds and many goat herds. During the ride, he gave me options like: would you like to climb a little higher now, or would you like to go downhill some? We stopped at the ancient village that was devastated by the 1953 earthquake. We saw the jail, the cisterns, the kitchen, the meeting rooms and the Square. It’s a good size little Village. The E mountain bike that he had for me was top-of-the-line. It was in tiptop shape.. he is vigilant about maintaining those bikes! So you don’t have a breakdown on your once in a lifetime ride. My only regret is that I didn’t have a second day available to do it again!!
