点评：Went today (super hot Thursday during term fine) full price combination tickets. Not a cheap day out.
Having said that, we were there from 1030-2pm so a decent length of time for a 4 year old to be entertained. We actually spent more time in the Alnwick garden enjoying the water features and tour of poison garden.
Things things we think could be improved on :
The scary voice at the beginning, maybe an alternative route for more sensitive kids. We nearly didn't get into the village after being growled at by the gate keeper, and then I recurring "what if that baddie has followed us".
Someone else suggested lockers, this would be really handy for parents laden with picnics etc.
The coffee machines are a joke. Bought 2 x coffee for 3.50 each. One stone cold and one just plain undrinkable. Took them to the counter, staff didn't seem surprised there was a problem and changed them, but imagine when it's busy that will be a nightmare.
Luckily we already tend to be "picnic people" but other reviews had cemented that. If the coffee anything to go by pleased we didn't need to sample the food.
Not sure how I feel about 3.50 to park the car on top of already pretty pricey attraction.
Everything well maintained, staff helpful just a few tweaks and could be something really amazing.
