Magical Morning at Lilidorei – A Fantasy Village Brought to Life

点评：Lilidorei at The Alnwick Garden gave us a fantastic morning out, and it genuinely feels like stepping into another world. The whole place is built like a mythical village, complete with clan houses, crooked chimneys, tiny glowing windows and winding paths that make you feel like you’re exploring a secret settlement hidden in the forest. The attention to detail is incredible — every doorway, rooftop and carved symbol feels like part of a bigger story.
The kids were in their element from the moment we arrived. They loved wandering through the different clan zones, inventing stories about who lived where, and spotting all the quirky touches around the village. It’s immersive in a way that pulls you straight into the fantasy.
And then there’s the play structure — absolutely enormous and brilliantly designed. The slides were the highlight, especially the really high one that towers above the village. The kids were a mix of excited and nervous at first, but once they’d braved it, that was it… nonstop trips back up the stairs. The combination of height, speed and the sweeping view over the village at the top makes it a proper standout feature. The other slides and climbing areas kept them busy for ages too, with loads of variety for different ages and confidence levels.
Everything is safe, imaginative and built to spark adventure. It’s one of those places where the kids don’t want to leave — and to be honest, the adults don’t mind staying either.
A superb morning out and a must‑visit if you’re anywhere near Alnwick. We’ll definitely be back.
