点评：This coffee tour has been the highlight of our trip in Lombok🤩
My wife and I booked that tour with Micofam and the whole experience was amazing.
Ewa, the founder of the company and local farmer, is really knowledgeable about coffee and we loved his sustainable approach and positive mindset. He seems to be one of the local pioneers of a more sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture.
We chatted for 2 hours about coffee production and its challenges around a good cup of coffee, then he showed us the process of processing and roasting of the beans, and then took us on a hike up the mountain through the rice terraces and other cultures to get to the coffee plantation. This part is available by motorbike but do it hiking, you won’t be disappointed. Landscapes were stunning and Ewa taught us about local farming on the way.
Once we arrived at the coffee farm at 900m of altitude, we met Didi, Ewa’s cousin. Great vibe and really knowledgeable as well. They showed us the coffee plants and gave us some more information about how they grow it. We had another coffee and some snacks before coming back down the hill.
We left really happy from this authentic experience, after meeting amazing personalities and tasting good local coffee☕️
