点评：We have visited Pfeiffer Wines on a number of occasions over the years, enjoyed the tasting experience, and purchased a good deal of wine. On this occasion we were not welcomed so we stood at the bar to wait and I read the sign that advised that we could have a $10 or $20 tasting and that fee would only be removed if we purchased more than $80. We always purchase something if we do a tasting, and I do not like this new approach so we left the tasting room. Before leaving the property we went to the bridge to see the tortoises in the river. There was a little table and two chairs on the bridge which could be used for the fee of $5! There were no tortoises to be seen. Perhaps it has become too expensive to live here. We then went for short tastings at Campbells and Chambers wineries where there was no tasting fee, we spent $83 and $150 respectively and felt welcome.
