点评：Our visit was one of the best winery experiences I have had. All staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Adding little touches to make your day a special experience.
We started with the very generous 10 for $10 wine tasting, which was accompanied by a lovely staff member, happy to provide information and recommendations on their range of lovely wines. Having the fortified wines available was a bonus for me.
Afterwards, we did their bird-watching activity. For a small fee you receive a bag with top quality binoculars, maps of several bird areas, sparking water, and link to an app that identifies the bird calls in your area. For an hour or two you're free to explore the landscape and riverbeds, spotting the many birds shown on your bird list, and some that aren't. A wonderful immersion into nature.
To complete the day, we were given use of the top rotunda where we enjoyed our BYO picnic with a glass of Pfieffer wine, in a tranquil, natural setting. Once again, our pre-reserved space was waiting for us with a welcoming name place-setting.
I purchased a couple of bottles before I left and thought the prices extremely reasonable for the quality.
