点评：The place we were staying provided us with a voucher for money off a cream tea, so we stopped by to claim it. The people serving had no idea what to do with the voucher and whether they were a real thing - but thankfully they honoured it. The scones were nice but the cake was nicer. All generally OK in the cafe, albeit a mix up led to having to go back to ask where our missing ordered were as only half came.
We decided to go in the adventure tail afterwards to pass some time. Wish we hadn't tbh. It wasn't that expensive for adults at £4.50, but there were hardly any animals and they didn't appear to be in the best looked after state. We kinda felt sorry for them. Where there is supposed to be alpaca field we assumed that there might be a few, but there was one housed with 2 sheep. As for red squirrels, I accept that they might be elusive but the walk through the woods were they apparently live lacked some care and attention. There was litter, the paths were a bit messy, and after 4 minutes of a small inclined walk it just ends with no warning. Fair enough it was only cheap, but still that felt like a bit if a cheat.
The whole place looks like it had probably seen better days. I think the fishing experience might be the big draw. I can only really give this 3 stars because of the cake. The rest was a bit disappointing.
