点评:We drove nearly 1,000 km to dive in one of the deepest pools in the world—and we regret it. Never again!
The diving tower requires you to carry all your gear in bags, as dive boxes can’t be brought through. I’ve never experienced anything like this before. Once inside, you have to leave your bag in the locker room and carry everything by hand to the pool. They claim it’s for hygiene reasons—but why can other facilities manage it and this one can’t?
If you want to lock up your personal belongings, you have to pay extra for a locker. I’m not sure if that’s standard in Belgium, but it certainly isn’t in Germany.
Then you’re left waiting for the unhelpful staff to finally explain where things are and when you need to exit the water. Upon leaving, you have to squeeze through a turnstile that barely fits a person—how is a diver with gear supposed to get through?
This facility is absolutely not diver-friendly. Never again! They should take a lesson from how things are organized at the deepest diving tower in Europe—in Poland.
