点评:This is a fantastic experience, the geology is just incredible. However, as most have said, don’t underestimate this trip! Some key points below 👇
- Wear sensible shoes
- Do not have any injuries: if you can’t handle a 5+ hr decent, this isn’t for you. We are both quite fit, run and walk on a regular basis and did this in 4.5hrs, but were sore the next day.
- Bring food & water.
- Bring sunscreen, it can get hot around mid day. And a small jacket for when you start.
- It’s a really long day, pick up was at 6am and we didn’t get back until 8.30pm.
- The top section is especially steep and slippy. Take it slow.
- If you aren’t a regular hiker, please make sure you move to the side if someone behind you is faster. It can be dangerous to keep them behind you.
- At one point, the was a minor rock fall, which was quite scary! I don’t want to be a party pooper, but really, a safety helmet is advised.
- There are toilets along the way. They aren’t fancy, but are surprising.
- At the bottom, you can go for a swim in the sea, or food at a taverna, so be prepared for this.
