点评:You park outside the area (it was free) and have a ten minute walk up a cobblestone path which was absolutely beautiful. The park setting is lovely and they have washrooms in the area as well as inside the building. In the building we had a lovely guide named Paula who was passionate about the work they are doing and very well informed. We spent over an hour in the area learning about how the island was formed and what they are doing to try and preserve the nature area. At the end of your tour they offer you an excellent lemongrass tea. From here we walked 45minutes to the calderas and since it was December, it was nice and quiet. We then opted to walk the same way back as it was beautiful but it would have been shorter to keep following the cobblestone roadway around the lake and we would be back to our car. The road is not overly busy either. If you parked at Terra Nostra then this is a great halfway point but we liked starting here and the easy free parking that was available
